Lark Energy is part of the Larkfleet Group of companies, a privately owned construction and development group based in the East Midlands. The company specialises in the design and installation of high quality commercial and utility-scale solar PV systems.
We have particular expertise in financing, developing and installing solar projects for our clients, partners and investors.
We have developed and installed over 60 MWp of PV across the UK since June 2011, including the largest solar farm in the country, making us one of the UK’s market leaders in the solar sector.
A Message to our CustomersIn 2012, the government brought long-awaited certainty to the solar industry. Feed in Tariff rates are now subject to a regular review cycle with any changes to rates set 3 months in advance. The level of Renewable Obligation Certificates (ROCs) for larger scale solar has also been established for 2013/14 and beyond with a new, higher rate instroduced for rooftop installations. Because of reductions in component costs, these new tariff levels still provide a good rate of return on investments (8-12%). We are confident that individuals and organisations will continue to choose solar to reduce their exposure to energy price rises, lower their carbon emissions and generate a useful income. We strongly believe the future for solar is now brighter than ever.
